When RV holding tank sensors incorrectly read full, it is typically due to residue. Since your trailer sat for a while it's very likely there is residue of some kind on the sensors. The best way to keep your tanks sensors working correctly is to take proper care of the tank itself. The waste tanks are more prone to sensor issues, simply because of the nature of the materials contained than fresh water tanks. The good news is that you don't have to have heaters on black and gray water RV tanks. The fresh water needs a heater as you can't put any antifreeze in it. But since you don't have to worry about poisoning the water in the black and gray water tanks you can use RV antifreeze in them and not have to worry about them freezing.

The ThermaHeat RV Holding Tank or Step Heater Pad w/ Thermostat # 277-000163 can be installed on gray and black water tanks but in reality it's only really needed on freshwater tanks. You can easily put antifreeze in the gray and black water tanks and piping and you'll prevent them from freezing. Since the freshwater can't have that you'd have to use the heaters.

The setup you have with two waste valves is going to require the tanks to be drained one at a time as they do not make a wye drain hose or wye camlock fitting for the Waste Master RV Sewer Hose part # LC359724. We do have a new black water tank rinse that is easy to use, and I highly recommend the Swivel Stik RV Black-Water Tank Rinser w/ Flexible Extension # CAM40074 because like your current kit, you only need to attach a hose to it and you're set!

All of the water tanks are susceptible to freezing. It's pretty easy though to keep the gray and black tanks from doing so as you can simply put some antifreeze down the drain of the shower and you'll be fine. Yes, we have both economy and premium replacement valves for your 2014 Heartland Elkridge. However, in order to recommend options for you I would need to know what type of valves you have as well as their size. The most common is 3" for black water tanks and 1-1/2" for grey water tanks.
